Here you can explore different musical categories and tell me which ones feel right for your event. While my sets always adapt in real time to the energy of the room, having a general direction helps me shape the night in a way that reflects your taste. I’ll also request a shortlist of your must-have songs. I’ll incorporate them wherever possible—or give you transparent guidance if my skillset isn't the right match for you.

Warm Up Tracks
It’s great to get an idea of your taste for warm up tunes these are tracks that build the emotion you want + also work as background music. There’s a lot of genres that fit this, so I’d love to get your input here.
-

Melodic House
A classy and atmospheric genre that builds emotion, if people are ready, they will start dancing to this, if not, it provides great built up flow.
-

Progresive House
A smooth, rhythmic genre that I like to have as an option for sets that start slower and build over a long period of time.
-

Nu Disco
The right tracks in this category are recognisable to the more mature folk, as well as being a lot of fun for the younger folk. Re-works of recognisable tracks feature highly in my sets because they hit the spot for everybody.
-

Groovy Energy Builders
These sexy tunes are a lot of fun and are designed to get people of all ages moving and grooving. I’d love to have them as an option for your special night.
-

Mid Energy Nostalgic Hits
Reworks of older tracks are incredible tools for helping people have a great time, I have a large playlist of quality bangers in this category.
-

Mid Energy Dance
Popular tunes that everyone recognises, with more contemporary dance rhythms, this is a sure-fire way to get the crowd levelled up.
-

High Energy Nostalgic Bangers
Many celebrations are best kept at medium energy, if you’d like to give me the option of pushing into high energy that’s awesome too. Note: I’ll read the room, and if the room isn’t ready, we wont force it.
-

High Energy Dance
If you would like me to aim to take your guests here, then I’ll have this as an option if they respond positively.
-

Nostalgic Anthems
These are the ones that people start requesting later into the night, usually when we have built a lot of energy. My strategy here is to use higher energy remixes (like this example) or layer with higher energy tracks. Then we don’t loose momentum.
-

Higher Levels
These last few genres are going to start feeling pretty out of place when listening on their own. We don’t need to go here, but let me know if you want me to push your guests as hard as possible. If they respond positively to each level up, I’m happy to take them there. (Note: All images are for illustrative purposes only).
